To us quality and productivity are connected closely. We know that when you increase the quality in the processes you increase the productivity and mostly you also decrease the waste. This is a fact to us: when you put focus on quality you increase it and reaise the productivity at the same time - or vice versa.
One example is a company producing food packaging. They succedeed in creating a raise in productivity with 88% and at the same time decreased the absenteism. This was a success because everybody listened to each other and created a room for presence and open communication between all departments and all levels.
